A.Yes. Depending upon the requirements of the client and the connectivity between the locations, every application can be a multi-location, multi-branch and also multi-user at every location.
Q. What does one mean by a web-based application?
A.An application that is 100% portable on the Internet and the data and information is accessible at all times to the respective users.
Q. Can the Financial data be exported to Tally?
A.Yes, all the financial data can be exported to other applications such as Tally, but we recommend that the necessity of the same should be avoided altogether as Fulcrum has a strong financial module built in, keeping all the data in a central repository.Also, Fulcrum allows export to CSV, making it easy to port the data to most applications.
Q. Are the Excise options taken care of in the Finance module?
A.Yes, there is full-fledged Excise compliance in Fulcrum that takes care of the entire gamut of excise related documentation and registers such as that for PLA, RG 23 and subcontracting.
Q. Does the system incorporate VAT and features related to it?
A.Yes, there is a full-fledged user defined Tax structure module developed in Fulcrum that takes care of the VAT and all other tax related features. Not only that, this feature keeps your systems future ready, ensuring that any statutory requirements changes will not make your systems outmoded.
Q. Is it possible to undergo a Vendor performance comparison?
A.Why only Vendor analysis? Fulcrum has a complete MIS module that takes care of all analysis and comparison features including that of Sales, Production, Inventory, Financials etc., with the help of attractive charts, reports, etc., which can be easily exported to MSWord or MSExcel.
Q. Will the system give me an accurate figure of the current inventory stock and its valuation?
A.Yes, the Inventory module gives a detailed report of the current stock at any point of time, its current location, valuation and other details. And that includes all Inventories whether it is raw material, WIP or FG. Also all inventories are tracked at subcontractors' locations.
Q. Which database used in the application? Is it relational?
A.Fulcrum Application uses standard ODBC conectivity with RDBMS backend. Fulcrum is compatible with any 5th Generation RDBMS Databse like MS-SQL Server 2000, Oracle 8i + etc.
Q. What are the Security systems used in the Fulcrum suite?
A.There are 3 Tiers of security used by Fulcrum:
1. Transaction Level : Access to each function inside a transaction can be specified for every user specifically.
2. Module Level : The various modules of Fulcrum are Password protected.
3. System Level : Fulcrum utilises standard OS & Database security systems for accessing the application.
